E3 Trailer Finale!!

Well, E3 has wrapped up. The booths packed away and the accompanying babes are onto their next gig. We’ve now entered the stage where we are able to really analyze all the announcements and get a feel for what we truly think. I had planned on trying to get my piece on E3 up today, but have realized that it’s just not going to happen. So, I’m going to leave you with a bit of High Voltage Software’s latest games as well as a seriously scary trailer.

The Grinder & Gladiator AD are the latest games being developed by High Voltage exclusively for the Wii. Both of these titles are extremely different from their other anticipated title, The Conduit. Gladiator AD puts you in the brutal shoes of a Gladiator and challenges you to fight your way to the top. Grinder asks you to team up with 3 other players in order to exterminate a town full of monsters while figuring out where they came from. While these games seemingly couldn’t be different, you get the feeling that they will both be excellent. I’ve said it before that High Voltage is throwing down the gauntlet and I believe they will win the battle for best third party developer on the Wii. Below you’ll find a walkthrough for The Grinder as well as Gladiator AD. The games look beautiful and violent. What else could you want from a game?

A few years ago Japanese Horror films exploded onto the scene with The Ring. That film was such a success that Ju-On was remade as The Grudge. While it didn’t offer the shock factor of The Ring, The Grudge was still seriously scary. The combination of silence, that eery clicking noise, and that horrifying kid gets me every time. At one point I seriously thought The Grudge was after me, that’s how scary it was. Well, the sick folks at Feel Plus games have decided that Ju-On should be a game for the Wii. The game is being billed as a “haunted-house sim”, which sounds odd. Odd and scary as hell. I can just imagine the developers wanting players to be as scared as possible. Needless to say, I won’t be getting this game. But, you may like this sort of thing. If you do, then you should enjoy the trailer below. Now excuse me as I get my wife to check under the bed for me.
