Mother arrested for helping kid and friends sell off a stolen Wii
It's one thing to be supportive of your kid's endeavors, but kinda another when that endeavor involves a felony. A mother has been arrested by the cops after she was suspected of helping her son and his friends sell off a Wii to a pawn shop -- one that they stole.
The mother, 41-year-old Maxine (ironically) Law, helped her son, Patrick Early (16), and his friends Joshua Carter (18) and Derrick Henson (13) make the drop at a local pawnshop even with knowledge that they nicked it from a neighbor.
The victim, Jenein Frazier, was heard saying, "You don't go selling something stolen, it's crazy." Looking into the case now is the state attorney's office. It is said that Law may be charged with dealing in stolen property, as well as contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
