Square Enix is reportedly taking legal action against a lone French retailer for allegedly selling pirated Square merchandise. la soci t SAKURA, the retail store, operates in Paris and online, specializing in Anime/Manga/Japanese gaming merch.

Square Enix' suit's basis is that: [Square] "denounces SAKURA for the commercialization of products counterfeiting Square Enix's FINAL FANTASY and FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST trademarks and copyrights to the FINAL FANTASY series".
